Overview
Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Matt is ideal for most interior walls and ceilings likely be disfigured by mould. Tested to BS 3900 Part G6, it contains a special fungicide which inhibits the growth of fungi and mould inside buildings.

Preparation
For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, and dry.
- Remove and treat any mould, algae, lichen, or moss with Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash.
- Remove all loose and defective paint. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
- Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease, and powdery or dusty residues. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
- Seal surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate .
- Where necessary, rub down and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to avoid dust.
- Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler.
Application
Stir thoroughly before, we recommend to perform a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Apply using a brush or roller only, this product is not suitable for spraying.
- Do not use when the temperature is below 8°C (as recommended by British Standard BS6150)
- The normal finishing process is 2 full coats, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, 1 coat may suffice.
