Overview
Polyvine Decking and Fencing Oil is a clear, water-repellent wax oil coating. Thanks to its concentrated formulation you will only need one coat to protect and enhance the natural beauty of your timber. Drying to a clear satin sheen, it will protect from discolouration and fading from the sun, whilst maintaining the finish. Polyvine Decking and Fencing Oil can also be tinted with an from the Polyvine range. Tint by up to 5% with a colour of your choice.

Clean Up | Remove as much product as possible from brush before washing. Clean brushes and spillages with white spirit. |
Preparation
Remove any dirt, dust, oil or grease. Surface must be dry.
- New surfaces: should be well sanded
- Weathered surfaces: sand down to clean, sound, treated wood
- Previously painted or stained surfaces: remove down to clean bare wood
Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Stir thoroughly.
- Brush apply one coat evenly with the grain in a full flowing coat, do not overbrush.
- Allow time for absorption along the grain of the timber. Decking and Fencing Oil must be absorbed into the timber.

Note: Do not apply below 5°C. - Timbers containing high natural oils, e.g. Teak and Iroko, may inhibit drying and cause impaired penetration. Wiping surface with methylated spirit will assist penetration.
Aftercare & Storage
Re-apply when required, every 1-2 years, depending on the level and nature of the exposure. Always remove leaves and decaying vegetation from the surface of decking as soon as possible in order to retain the benefits of Decking and Fencing Oil.
